President - Dr. Gerardo Toledo

Gerardo worked as a missionary dentist in Bangladesh from 1994-1998. He then came to the USA to complete a Masters in Clinical Ministry, and earned a Certificate in Endodontics at Loma Linda University. He currently has his own private practice in Redlands, CA. Gerardo has a special interest in helping those in need in developing countries, such as the ones in his beloved Bangladesh. 

Vice President - Greg Nelson

Greg currently serves as the Director of Investments for Loma Linda University Foundation, a position he has held for the last 15 years.  He is a member of the Investment Committee of Loma Linda University and La Sierra University. Greg has been a investment management industry professional for 28 years and was a former principal with Nelson & McGilchrist Capital Management in La Jolla, California. Greg was also previously a Vice President with Dean Witter and Paine Webber specializing in portfolio management for institutional accounts.  He graduated from La Sierra University with a BS degree in Business Administration. He is married to Wendy Nelson, MD and has 4 children age 14 (quadruplets).

Treasurer - Jeffrey Frye, CPA, MBA

Jeffrey graduated from Walla Walla University with a Bachelors in Business Administration in 2010 with emphasis in Accounting and Finance. Since then, he has worked as the CFO of a commercial real estate company and now owns his own practice in Newport Beach, CA. Jeffrey is a licensed Real Estate Broker, Insurance Broker, and Certified Public Accountant. He received his MBA in Real Estate & Finance from the University of California Irvine.

Secretary - Dr. Lili Martorell

Dr. Martorell-Bendezu completed her Internal Medicine/Pediatrics residency in 2004 and her Neonatal fellowship in 2007 at Loma Linda University. She currently works at the Rady Children's Hospital / University of California San Diego Neonatology group.  Over the past 10 years, she has coordinated multiple community health fairs in the Inland Empire, and has been  involved in various community projects that focus on prevention and health education to the Hispanic community.  Her passion to serve others wherever needed has taken her to countries such as: Kenya, Cambodia, Venezuela, El Salvador, Peru and Bangladesh.

Board Member - Dr. Seth Gaona Duke

Seth is a teacher that graduated from Loma Linda University with a Doctoral degree in Education with an emphasis in Administration and Leadership.
